Pumpkins, Pumpkins Everywhere!

On Monday we finally got a chance to go to a pumpkin patch that offered a hay ride out to their pumpkin patch, and then we got to choose a pumpkins. It was so fun to see their faces when they saw the pumpkins. I loved that it didn't take to long and that is held their attention. Later after we had dinner we decided to let them paint them. They had a blast!! I am so excited for the fun traditions we get to start with our kids each holiday!

Tyler proudly showing off the pumpkin he picked out.

As you can tell Jaxon had more fun playing with the paint bottles and painting on himself. Yes we helped a little bit. He thought it was so funny.

St. George

This weekend Jason and I got to get away with his brother and sister-in-law. We got to go for a business type trip with World Finacial Group, who Jason works for as a finacial planner. We were able to go to one of the founders of his company's house and hear about his journey in this business. I am still kicking myself because I left my camera back at the hotel. They have the most amazing house and view. You could see all of St. George and more. It was really uplifting and motivating to hear his story and his wife's. They were the both so nice and humble and down to earth. Saturday we were able to do sealings at the temple. I am so thankful for the opportunity we have to do Heavenly Father's work in the temple. What a beautiful place!! It was a relaxing weekend. I am so grateful for the great time away I got to spend with just Jason.

When we finally got the boys home. Tyler had fallen asleep in the car and was out for the night, but Jaxon was the complete opposite. He was running all over and laughing and having so much. I could definetly tell he was glad to be home.

So big!

While we were digging rose bushes Tyler was playing with the sidewalk chalk and this is what I found when I had a chance.

I was so surprised because I have really only shown him how to do it once!

This is a picture of the leaves changing on my trees.

Roses!

Many of you may know how much I hate to garden, but I have been very unlucky with the houses I have moved into because both of the prior occupants loved to garden. Which means I was in a lot of trouble! The house I live in now the former owner decided to plant 24 roses bushes in the back yard. I love how they look but I can't stand the up keep and I don't want my kids to play around them because they are really pointy and scratchy. Today I decided that we were going to dig them all out. I called some family to come and help, thank goodness they were so willing I know we couldn't have done it without them. Thanks to all those that helped. I have know idea who in their right mind would want that many roses bushes in their yard. If you are thinking about getting rose bushes don't get very many. Mine would grow so tall and they were all jammed in there so close together. They are gone and I couldn 't be happier!

These 2 pictures are of the back of my fence.

I know they are sure pretty but I will love not having to take care of them!

This is the after shot. YAY!!

Snow!!!

Well, as many of you may know we woke up to about 3 to 4 inches of snow on the ground. The minute Tyler saw it he was begging to go outside and play. Thankfully we don't have church until 1 because who knows how long the snow will last. After breakfast Jason took Tyler outside to play and build a snowman. Tyler has been hyper ever since. I am glad he got to play in the snow, but I hope it melts soon so we can enjoy a little bit more fall like weather.

He would just dive right in.

Jason and Tyler and their huge snowman!

This in the finished product, Tyler decided to name him "Snowflake!"

Tyler was then thrilled because after playing in the snow he got to have a bath in our big tub, and he got to have bubbles!

This is what poor "Snowflake" looked like when we got home from church.

Silly Boys

Here are some pictures of my silly boys.

I can't believe how grown up they look in their handsome ties.

This is what happens when you give your 17 month old with a bowl of mac and cheese and you leave the room.

He thought this was hilarious, to me it looks very uncomfortable.

I could never get him to look at the camera.
