Cruise!

I was so blessed this past week to be able to go on a cruise with Jason, my kids got to play with their Grandma and Grandpa Eddington. Thank you mom and dad for watching them for us. It was so wonderful. We went to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We flew into Miami and boarded the ship Norwegian Jewel. It is amazing how big these ships actually are!

This is our ship we were on the 9th floor.

This is us with the Miami coast line behind us.

One on the wonderful sunsets we witnesses, this one is from the day we left. The day we left 4 other ships did also, here is one of them.

Our first stop was in Grand Cayman.

In Grand Cayman we went to a turtle farm. They had so many turtles big and small. It was so fun to get to hold them.

Next in Grand Cayman we got to swim with the sting rays. It was so amazing! There are so many of them and they would just swim all around you. We got to hold them and they told us if with kissed them we would have 7 years good luck. I hope they were right!!

Our next stop was Cozumel Mexico.

In Cozumel we had the awesome experience of parasailing. The view was absolutely breathtaking. This is Jason at the beginning.

This is Michelle.

Here we are in Cozumel, of course at a Mexican restuant. We had such a wonderful time on our cruise. It was sad to come home, but we were glad to see our boys again. I would definely recommend a cruise to anyone. They are so worth it, you get to experience so many great things.

Thanksgiving Weekend!

What a wonderful weekend we had, we had wonderful food, weather, and fun. This weekend really made me realize how thankful I am for my family and for the opportunity I have to be a mom to my wonderful boys. Also for my wonderful husband. I love all my family and am so thankful for each of them. This year we went to my parents for Thanksgiving. I don't know if I really remember a Thanksgiving when the kids could play outside with just a jacket. They all had so much fun, and I know the adults liked the quiet inside the house for some time. It was wonderful. Thanks mom and dad for a wonderful holiday. Jaxon loved to be outside he cried when we had to go in, I love this picture.
This picture cracks me up because it shows how hard both of them were trying to make a basket. Tyler played in the dirt forever, he even stayed out there when the rest of the boys left. We couldn't get him to leave.
Of course we took the opportunity to put up our Christmas tree. We let Tyler stay up a little bit later than Jaxon. He was so excited the whole time we were putting up the lights, he just kept talking and talking, and running and having so much fun. We loved that he was so excited for it.
As you can see Tyler decorated the bottom part of the tree, he was so proud of his work.

Dairy Queen

On Saturday my boys and me went shopping with my parents and when we were done we stopped at Dairy Queen. We decided to get Jaxon his own dilly bar and he was in heaven. In the photo you can tell he did not want to stop eating it. Thanks mom and dad for the fun night!

Halloween! Of Course!

For Halloween we decided to head to Perry and go to a truck-or-treat with my brother and sister in law and their kids. I love trunk or treats because it is just the right amount of time for kids and they get lots of candy.

Jaxon is the lion, Blake is a boxer, Tyler is Superman, and Adam is a pirate. Oh yeah I can't forget Jana who is a banana, and my brother Ryan is Indiana Jones (sorry I cut off you head)

The kids after the trunk or treat wishing they could eat every piece of candy right then and there.

Jaxon the not so scary lion!

Pumpkins, Pumpkins Everywhere!

On Monday we finally got a chance to go to a pumpkin patch that offered a hay ride out to their pumpkin patch, and then we got to choose a pumpkins. It was so fun to see their faces when they saw the pumpkins. I loved that it didn't take to long and that is held their attention. Later after we had dinner we decided to let them paint them. They had a blast!! I am so excited for the fun traditions we get to start with our kids each holiday!

Tyler proudly showing off the pumpkin he picked out.

As you can tell Jaxon had more fun playing with the paint bottles and painting on himself. Yes we helped a little bit. He thought it was so funny.

St. George

This weekend Jason and I got to get away with his brother and sister-in-law. We got to go for a business type trip with World Finacial Group, who Jason works for as a finacial planner. We were able to go to one of the founders of his company's house and hear about his journey in this business. I am still kicking myself because I left my camera back at the hotel. They have the most amazing house and view. You could see all of St. George and more. It was really uplifting and motivating to hear his story and his wife's. They were the both so nice and humble and down to earth. Saturday we were able to do sealings at the temple. I am so thankful for the opportunity we have to do Heavenly Father's work in the temple. What a beautiful place!! It was a relaxing weekend. I am so grateful for the great time away I got to spend with just Jason.

When we finally got the boys home. Tyler had fallen asleep in the car and was out for the night, but Jaxon was the complete opposite. He was running all over and laughing and having so much. I could definetly tell he was glad to be home.

So big!

While we were digging rose bushes Tyler was playing with the sidewalk chalk and this is what I found when I had a chance.

I was so surprised because I have really only shown him how to do it once!

This is a picture of the leaves changing on my trees.

Roses!

Many of you may know how much I hate to garden, but I have been very unlucky with the houses I have moved into because both of the prior occupants loved to garden. Which means I was in a lot of trouble! The house I live in now the former owner decided to plant 24 roses bushes in the back yard. I love how they look but I can't stand the up keep and I don't want my kids to play around them because they are really pointy and scratchy. Today I decided that we were going to dig them all out. I called some family to come and help, thank goodness they were so willing I know we couldn't have done it without them. Thanks to all those that helped. I have know idea who in their right mind would want that many roses bushes in their yard. If you are thinking about getting rose bushes don't get very many. Mine would grow so tall and they were all jammed in there so close together. They are gone and I couldn 't be happier!

These 2 pictures are of the back of my fence.

I know they are sure pretty but I will love not having to take care of them!

This is the after shot. YAY!!

Snow!!!

Well, as many of you may know we woke up to about 3 to 4 inches of snow on the ground. The minute Tyler saw it he was begging to go outside and play. Thankfully we don't have church until 1 because who knows how long the snow will last. After breakfast Jason took Tyler outside to play and build a snowman. Tyler has been hyper ever since. I am glad he got to play in the snow, but I hope it melts soon so we can enjoy a little bit more fall like weather.

He would just dive right in.

Jason and Tyler and their huge snowman!

This in the finished product, Tyler decided to name him "Snowflake!"

Tyler was then thrilled because after playing in the snow he got to have a bath in our big tub, and he got to have bubbles!

This is what poor "Snowflake" looked like when we got home from church.

Silly Boys

Here are some pictures of my silly boys.

I can't believe how grown up they look in their handsome ties.

This is what happens when you give your 17 month old with a bowl of mac and cheese and you leave the room.

He thought this was hilarious, to me it looks very uncomfortable.

I could never get him to look at the camera.

Tyler's New Trick!

Tyler learned how to curl his tongue today, and will not stop. He thinks it is so cool! Every time I look at him this is what I see.

Well, these aren't my favorite things in the world to do but I thought I would humor my friend.

3 fears
One of my boys getting really sick or hurt or anyone that I am close to dying
I can't think of anything else worse than that.

3 goals
Go back to school one day
Get in better shape
Turn off the TV more. I am addicted, I don't know why

3 obsessions
CHOCOLATE!!
CHOCOLATE!!
and of course CHOCOLATE!!

3 random facts
I deal with headaches on a regular basis, I guess my kids stress me out or something. I don't know.
I don't play the piano as much as I would like to or should. Every time I sit down to play at least one of my boys is playing along with me.
I wish I had a maid to clean my house for me, who wouldn't!

Best Buds

Each week my friend and I do a trade with our boys. I watch hers on Monday and she watched mine on Wednesdays. It is so nice and I am so thankful for they opportunity to be on my own for an hour. Thanks Amanda! Well today all the boys were playing and her 9 month old Jonathan was sitting on the floor and I thought it was so cute because Jaxon was so soft with him, and went right over and sat right next to him on the floor. He just sat there and played next to him for awhile so of course I had to get out my camera.

I love the shocked look on their faces!

This one is for you Amanda, he has such a cute smile!

Of course, Tyler and Spencer didn't want to be left out of the pictures. Trying to get all of them looking was impossible, but I got 3 out of 4 not bad.

Jaxon just looked so cute in this picture I couldn't resist.

Later today Jason and I were making dinner so we turned on a show for the boys. We looked over to check on them and this is what we saw. I hope that they can always be best buds!

Ouch!!

So tonight we were at friends house for a get together, and Jaxon was playing on the steps to the patio. He was doing fine until he slipped off the bottom stair and hit is forehead right on the the cement. He didn't cry long which surprised me because of the mark it made on his head. Here is what it looked like when we got home.

Thankfully it isn't a bump just a bruise, poor guy though!
