Roses!

Many of you may know how much I hate to garden, but I have been very unlucky with the houses I have moved into because both of the prior occupants loved to garden. Which means I was in a lot of trouble! The house I live in now the former owner decided to plant 24 roses bushes in the back yard. I love how they look but I can't stand the up keep and I don't want my kids to play around them because they are really pointy and scratchy. Today I decided that we were going to dig them all out. I called some family to come and help, thank goodness they were so willing I know we couldn't have done it without them. Thanks to all those that helped. I have know idea who in their right mind would want that many roses bushes in their yard. If you are thinking about getting rose bushes don't get very many. Mine would grow so tall and they were all jammed in there so close together. They are gone and I couldn 't be happier!

These 2 pictures are of the back of my fence.

I know they are sure pretty but I will love not having to take care of them!

This is the after shot. YAY!!

Snow!!!

Well, as many of you may know we woke up to about 3 to 4 inches of snow on the ground. The minute Tyler saw it he was begging to go outside and play. Thankfully we don't have church until 1 because who knows how long the snow will last. After breakfast Jason took Tyler outside to play and build a snowman. Tyler has been hyper ever since. I am glad he got to play in the snow, but I hope it melts soon so we can enjoy a little bit more fall like weather.

He would just dive right in.

Jason and Tyler and their huge snowman!

This in the finished product, Tyler decided to name him "Snowflake!"

Tyler was then thrilled because after playing in the snow he got to have a bath in our big tub, and he got to have bubbles!

This is what poor "Snowflake" looked like when we got home from church.

Silly Boys

Here are some pictures of my silly boys.

I can't believe how grown up they look in their handsome ties.

This is what happens when you give your 17 month old with a bowl of mac and cheese and you leave the room.

He thought this was hilarious, to me it looks very uncomfortable.

I could never get him to look at the camera.

Tagged!?

Well, these aren't my favorite things in the world to do but I thought I would humor my friend.

3 joys
Hugs and kisses from my boys/family
Chocolate!
Music

3 fears
One of my boys getting really sick or hurt or anyone that I am close to dying
I can't think of anything else worse than that.

3 goals
Go back to school one day
Get in better shape
Turn off the TV more. I am addicted, I don't know why

3 obsessions
CHOCOLATE!!
CHOCOLATE!!
and of course CHOCOLATE!!

3 random facts
I deal with headaches on a regular basis, I guess my kids stress me out or something. I don't know.
I don't play the piano as much as I would like to or should. Every time I sit down to play at least one of my boys is playing along with me.
I wish I had a maid to clean my house for me, who wouldn't!

I now tag Heidi, Tara, and Natalie. Sorry!!

Best Buds

Each week my friend and I do a trade with our boys. I watch hers on Monday and she watched mine on Wednesdays. It is so nice and I am so thankful for they opportunity to be on my own for an hour. Thanks Amanda! Well today all the boys were playing and her 9 month old Jonathan was sitting on the floor and I thought it was so cute because Jaxon was so soft with him, and went right over and sat right next to him on the floor. He just sat there and played next to him for awhile so of course I had to get out my camera.

I love the shocked look on their faces!

This one is for you Amanda, he has such a cute smile!

Of course, Tyler and Spencer didn't want to be left out of the pictures. Trying to get all of them looking was impossible, but I got 3 out of 4 not bad.

Jaxon just looked so cute in this picture I couldn't resist.

Later today Jason and I were making dinner so we turned on a show for the boys. We looked over to check on them and this is what we saw. I hope that they can always be best buds!

Ouch!!

So tonight we were at friends house for a get together, and Jaxon was playing on the steps to the patio. He was doing fine until he slipped off the bottom stair and hit is forehead right on the the cement. He didn't cry long which surprised me because of the mark it made on his head. Here is what it looked like when we got home.

Thankfully it isn't a bump just a bruise, poor guy though!

Tyler's Flag

Today Tyler had flags on the brain because we had one in front of our house for Sept. 11. He also wanted to wear his flag shirt. He and Jaxon love to play with the color wonder markers and stack them up. Well, he stacked about 6 of them up and found a sock and put it up on top and he told us it was a flag. He kept walking all over the place carrying it and saying "flag, flag, flag" over and over again. We couldn't help but laugh and enjoy watching him use his imagination. I can't believe how smart he is! I love my boys and how happy they make me feel. I love when they surprise me with the new things they do. They have grown up so fast it is so crazy.

Look how proud he is of it.

Peach Days

Saturday we went to Peach Days in Brigham City. We went and watched the parade with my family. We had a lot of fun!

This is Spencer, Jaxon, and Tyler before the parade started.

Everybody during the parade.

Jaxon thought he was so cool with this flashlight on his head.

Tyler and Jason decided to make a fort on Sunday and Tyler was so proud of it.

Labor Day Weekend

This last weekend was a lot of driving but we sure had a lot of fun. It all started on Saturday with a trip to Hyrum to go on my dad's boat and go water skiing and what not. I had to wake the kids up to go, but they didn't mind. Thankfully my mom decided she wanted to stay home so I left Jaxon with her. Tyler was so excited that he got to go with me without Jaxon around. When we go up there my dad decided that he wanted to stay on the beach with Tyler, Adam, Blake, and Spencer. The rest of us went out on the boat to ski, which was wonderful because I haven't skied for a couple of years it had just never worked out. It was so fun! Later that night we went to Blake's 3rd birthday party. We were at my parents and set up the pool for the boys and the volleyball net for the adults. It is always great having fun with family!

Sunday we had to hop in the car again and head up to Willard because Jason's nephew got ordained a deacon. Before we went in I told Tyler if he was really good and quiet that I would give him a special treat. He definitely listened and wanted that treat because he wouldn't talk to anybody. It was the craziest thing because Tyler usually is always talking. He made us so proud of him.

Monday yet one more trip in the car, this time to North Logan to my Grandma and Grandpa Redd's house. They invited us all up there for a brunch, which was so yummy! We just had a lot of fun watching the kids play and enjoying one anothers company. Jaxon was soooo tired he feel asleep within 1 to 2 minutes after we started driving. Minus all the driving we had a really fun and relaxing weekend with family.

Tyler had so much fun driving the boat.

No, he never drove it on his own, he sure wanted to though. This is Tyler and my dad.

I just thought this picture was cute of Jaxon walking in the grass. You can't even see his feet.

Jaxon was so proud of himself because he got in this table all by himself.

This picture was taken right after the first one. This is the face he makes when we say "cheese."
